CD Chino Jaheen (Umfaan)
2004 Stallion, Chestnut
Egyptian/Crabbet
Umfaan is a Dinkelmann Arabians foundation stallion who was purchased by Christo from a Texas cattle rancher who used Arabians to work his ranch. After having owned several horses that were bred at this ranch, Christo confirmed that these horses had what he was looking for in a breeding program: intelligent, kind dispositions, smooth gaits, endurance, and athletic prowess with low working heart rates. Umfaan is kind to handle, has wonderful movement and a beautiful profile. His first foal by Roccoby Baby was a beauty! (see News page) We look forward to a few stellar foals in 2010 by Umfaan. He is half brother to our broodmare Penny and related to Rabdan and other super horses we've competed on in the past.

DCL Mooi Koedoe
2002 Stallion, Chestnut
Straight Egyptian
Koedoe was purchased as a 3-year-old stallion at an impound auction. He was selected for his strong Egyptian pedigree, was nursed to good health, and has sired two nice fillies, DCL Mooi Donderslag and DCL Mooi Minnares, found on our Youngsters page. In 2007 Koedoe was gelded, then started by our friend Mark Elliott. He is an exceptionally smooth ride, very athletic, strong, and level-headed under saddle. He has a very low working heart rate, even carrying a heavy weight rider. He has great feet and stands 15 1/2 hands. He will begin his endurance career in 2009.

ZT Schroc
2007 Stallion, Grey
Egyptian/Polish racing bloodlines
ZT Schroc was purchased as a foundation stallion for Dinkelmann Arabians from JD Fountain of South Carolina. His pedigree is a mixture of some of the best Arabian racing bloodlines. He is a grandson of the racing sensation ZT Ali Baba, who retired sound from racing at age 11. He is half brother to the successful endurance horse King Ali Gold. He is a kind, gentle colt with good feet and very nice movement. Look for him on the endurance trail in the coming years. We have had great success with our ZT Ali Baba son, Red Dog, and expect great things of Schroc.
