Mooibegin
Dinkelmann Arabians is located south of Atlanta, Georgia. We concentrate on producing high quality endurance horses on our farm called Mooibegin. We enjoy sharing our love of endurance riding and make it a point to encourage junior riders to become involved in the sport, as they will be the future of endurance. We strive to give as much to the sport of endurance as the sport and its players has given to us, and we hope we can inspire others to do the same.
Our Mission
Dinkelmann Arabians pursues the development of horses with strong, athletic builds, who are able to carry heavyweight riders with ease. (Christo is 6'8", so he doesn't make the Lightweight division.) Almost all of our horses have very smooth gaits, have excellent feet and excellent movement. They all have good heart rate recovery times, even carrying a heavyweight rider. Our young horses are started right and have sound minds under saddle while having the potential of being very strong competitors. We prefer to build a horse from the ground up, putting a strong base on them. While we have always been very competitive in 50-mile endurance rides, our ultimate goal with our young stock is to produce high quality 100-mile horses who can carry any type of rider. With potential buyers, we are adamant about ensuring a proper match between horse and rider. We know our horses well, having spent a great deal of time with them on the trail and in the arena. We cherish each of them. With our collection of royal pedigrees among the mares and stallions, we are excited about our potential with purely Dinkelmann Arabians-bred endurance horses.
Join Us
Dinkelmann Arabians enjoys hosting out-of-region and international riders, who we invite to Mooibegin to join us on conditioning rides and to compete on one of our horses in a Southeastern endurance ride, where you will experience some of the most competent ride veterinarians, ride managers, and loyal ride volunteers. Camaraderie is never lacking among endurance lovers in the Southeast. The riders here are always hospitable, generous, and respectful competitors.
